Our next meeting and our last meeting for this year will be December 4, 2008 at 1830hrs at Sandy Springs Baptist Church on Sandy Springs Rd. just off of West Georiga Rd. If you plan to attend please call SGFD HQ for directions and let us know how many will be coming. You know we ain't having a meeting without vittles they will be served at 1830hrs and then we will have the honor of Rev. Ron Alexander aka "Rev" who works with our inmates in a prison ministry. Wow a month has passed since our great meeting on Oct. 4 and we are receiving blessings each and every day. Remember for Christians to be absent of the body, you will not need this earthly body any longer, is to be present with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and no man comes unto the father but by Jesus Christ. Can Jesus vouch for you and find your name written in the Lambs Book of Life? If not please ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and ask him to live in your heart forever and then tell everybody what Jesus has done for you.
Who are we?
We are a group of dedicated Christian Firefighters in the Upstate of South Carolina.
Our group started as a calling to one firefighter, and as he answered the call he reached out to other firefighters and our group was created.
Firefighters getting together to pray, break bread together and studying the word of God.
We will share miracles that each have received, prayer request but most of all we want to praise Jesus Christ for saving our souls and watching over our families at all times and when duty calls.
